Platform / Ontology

The structure behind every number.

Trebellar's ontology unifies your leases, headcount, and space data into one connected model – built specifically for CRE, not generic BI.

  • Built for real estate, not adapted to it

Every object, field, and relationship reflects how CRE actually works – not a general schema.

  • Every number, traceable

Calculations are run against your ontology, not a guess – so you can verify, not just trust.

  • The foundation your agents run on

Agents plan and calculate against this same structured model – accuracy starts here.

A data model built for CRE

Trebellar's ontology is purpose-built around real estate – leases, buildings, headcount, cost – not a generalized model stretched to fit.

  • Purpose-built objects. Leases, buildings, and space modeled the way CRE teams use them.
  • Real relationships. Connects headcount, cost, and space the way your business actually works.
  • No workarounds. Built for CRE from day one, not BI repurposed for it.
  • A shared source of truth. One model your whole team and every agent can rely on.

Bring data from anywhere

Flexible ingestion options match your systems, timeline, and IT readiness – from a spreadsheet to a live warehouse connection.

  • CSV upload. Fastest path to initial setup and immediate insights.
  • Secure file sync. Automated, scheduled ingestion with minimal IT lift.
  • API integration. Real-time, fully automated ingestion at scale.
  • Direct warehouse connection. Native integration with Snowflake, BigQuery, and more.

Trustworthy by design

High-stakes decisions deserve data you can verify, not just numbers you're asked to trust.

  • Proactive error detection. Trebellar flags data issues before they reach a report.
  • Full lineage. See when a number changed, and why, at any point in time.
  • Source-level traceability. Every figure links back to the record it came from.
  • Built-in explainability. See how a calculation was derived, not just the result.

Unified Data Layer

No more silos – just clean, structured data that's AI-ready. Trebellar's ontology normalizes data from every source into one connected model, purpose-built for CRE.

Data sources connected to the Trebellar ontology
  • Lease & OPEX

Track spend and key lease dates to uncover savings opportunities.

  • Occupancy & Utilization

Connect badge data, WiFi analytics, sensors, and space booking tools.

  • Market Data

Select sites with confidence using instant AI-powered market insights.

  • Space Reservation

See space-booking trends and improve utilization with room-release policies.

  • HRIS & Surveys

Understand what supports engagement and adjust seat allocations with agility – without touching personal data.

  • Proactive Operations & IoT

Streamline site operations with workflow automation that's easy to set up and maintain.

  • Build Your Own

Upload via CSV, connect through our API, or add custom research and policy documents in a few clicks.

The engine behind your agents

The same ontology that structures your data also trains the models and agents that act on it.

  • Agent training infrastructure. Agents reason over your live, structured data.
  • ML-driven forecasting. Predict attendance, demand, and cost trends automatically.
  • Anomaly detection. Catch unexpected shifts before they become problems.
  • Continuously learning. Models improve as your portfolio data grows.

How teams use the ontology

  • Verify a lease obligation instantly

Trace any figure back to the lease clause or record it came from – no digging required.

  • Catch a data error before it reaches a report

Get flagged the moment an inconsistency appears, not after a stakeholder sees it.

  • Power a forecast automatically

Let ML models trained on your ontology predict attendance, cost, and demand trends.

  • Compare performance across the portfolio

Pull consistent, structured data across every location – no manual reconciliation.

FAQ

Common questions about Trebellar's ontology.

Still have a question?

Talk to Us
  • What is ontology?

A structured model of your real estate portfolio – every lease, building, team, and cost, connected the way your business actually works. It's what lets an AI understand what each data set means and how they relate to one another.

  • How long does it take to get my data into Trebellar?

It depends on the ingestion method. CSV upload can take as little as 2–3 weeks; a direct warehouse connection or full API integration typically takes 2–6 weeks. Most customers start with CSV or file sync, then move to API over time.

  • Do I need my IT team involved to get started?

Not necessarily. CSV upload and secure file sync require minimal IT lift. And generally speaking, we don't use personal identifiable information (PII). API integration and direct warehouse connections benefit from IT coordination, but aren't required to see initial value.

  • Can I see where a specific number came from?

Yes. Every calculation traces back to its source record – the lease, the badge swipe, the headcount entry – so you can verify any figure, not just trust it.

  • Is my data used to train models for other customers?

No, we do not use customer data to train general models or other customer models. We enforce strict segregation of customer data. Customers retain ownership of their data.

  • What data sources does Trebellar support?

Lease and OPEX systems, market data providers, occupancy and utilization tools (badge, WiFi, sensors), space reservation platforms, HRIS and survey tools, IoT and operations platforms, plus custom uploads via CSV, PDF, or API.

  • How does this connect to Trebellar's AI agents?

Agents plan, calculate, and generate reports using this same ontology, so the numbers they cite are the same governed, traceable data you'd find anywhere else on the platform.

Governed the way enterprise data should be Tenant isolation, model governance, and full auditability are built in.
